I love, love, love the holidays! I love the lights, the music, the warm blankets, the holiday movies, the snow… THE SNOW (cue cute little snowflakes that look perfect as they land on your tongue)! *Sigh
Little (un)known fact about me is that I believe that on Christmas Eve animals can talk. I will wait for your laughter to die down…. Ever since my brothers and I have been little, my mom has told us that on Christmas Eve Santa made it so that animals could talk so that he could communicate with his reindeer. I like this idea so I choose to still believe. Every Christmas Eve I tell Casey, our lab, and Stinky, our ferret, goodnight and then I let them know if they need to wake me up to talk later I will listen :) It must be frustrating to only get to talk once a year! A lot of stuff could build up in that time.
In other news, I hate surprises. So, I would really like to tell everyone what I got them so I don’t have to live in this suspense. I would much rather give people a gift that they would want/enjoy. That is why I would rather you tell me if you like it so I can change it if you don’t!
So, I continue to sit and wait for the snowflakes to fall on my tongue…
My hands are cold.
I’m so full.
I still would like to eat some Skittles.
I hate shopping for Christmas for certain people.
… um … yeah.
I’m in a poopy mood.

So Freakin’ Excited!!!!
Wow! I have not been on here in forever! That is due in part that life has been crazy. Crazy good ♥ and crazy I need a nap.

Happy Late Halloween!
Seriously! Tonight was outstanding at Element!
First and foremost, I did not burn the Blok down. Right there was a huge win for me. We had over 150 students combined with Middle School and High School. Everything flowed and best of all the sound equipment and videos worked! Joseph Christie was amazing leading worship and it is always a joy to watch God work through his music. McKenna Hydrick seriously was a wrecking ball to a lot of students and leaders tonight! She was phenomenal! She took God’s truth and just slapped it in the faces of so many by challenging how we perceive what is beautiful.
Girls, you need to focus more on having a beautiful heart and not worrying about what the world says the perfect face, hair, skin tone or clothes are. That scheming and lying are what make you ugly. That boys who only see your outward beauty (or lack of it) are not worth a second more of your time. Boys, you need to help build up the confidences of your sisters in Christ by praising their Walk and their beauty within. Know that being arrogant and running to trouble are what will keep you from fully accepting God’s greatest gift… His Son.
Everyone has the power to change his or her spiritual appearance… and THAT type of beauty will never fade like worldly beauty will!
Again, tonight was a true blessing and I thank everyone who helped make it happen… or helped me not to burn the Blok down :)
